What is CBD?

And can it help me and my pet?

CBD for dogs and humans
What is CBD? Why are people and pets using CBD?Why is it so popular? Is it legal and safe?

CBD stands for Cannabidiol. It is one of the active ingredients derived directly from the hemp plant or stalk. Hemp is a cousin to the marijuana plant and the two are almost identical at first sight. While CBD is a derivative of marijuana it does not cause the state of being “HIGH” according to The World Health Organization who stated that there is no evidence of health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.

Today CBD is legal in all 50 states in the USA with varying degrees of restriction. The grey line appears when the government cannot distinguish the difference between CBD derived from hemp or marijuana. CBD is gaining popularity due to the healing properties that some people get from using cannabidiol. There needs to be more research but CBD may prove to be an option for managing anxiety, insomnia, inflammation, diabetes, depression, nausea, epilepsy, MS, parkinsons, arthritis and chronic pain.
